Playa de las cucharas is the main beach in Costa Teguise being a very popular spot for tourists and also locals. Many windsurfers enjoy this beach due to the trade winds in the summer and national championships are held throughout the year. This beach is situated in the north of the island. There are piers at either end of the beach where you can jump off into the lovely blue waters. Public toilets are situated just off the beach. Many bars and restaurants are right on the sea front meaning you have beautiful food and refreshing drinks just metres away.
